When the Kings had to toss away some contracts this offseason to open up room they were forced to attach pick swaps and a first-round pick in the deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, and they weren’t trading away any players around the caliber of Rudy Gay. I just don’t think it was a very good salary dump on their part.
